COMMUNITY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
As a Voice for the Constitution, Jeff has successfully defended the property rights of Michigan’s citizens in Federal Court, resulting in a better outcome for many Michigan homeowners impacted by international pipeline interests. Michigan Township Association and Sierra Club were strong supporters of Jeff’s effort to make sure municipalities and citizens would be assured that all public laws, ordinances and permits were followed protecting the natural resources, including watersheds, of communities throughout Michigan. In addition, through the efforts of Jeff’s legal defense fund, strong community activism and the coordination of outstanding elected official leadership they were able to successfully defeat the 2014 ET Rover Pipeline expansion in Oakland, Macomb and Saint Clair Counties.
